3D Printing Services in Kansas City

Jigs, fixtures, templates, prototypes and short-run parts, printed in the same Olathe shop that cuts your cabinet components.

What we print

Most of what comes off the printer is not a display model. It is the part that makes a job go faster, or the part nobody sells any more.

  • Assembly and drilling jigs
  • Router and sanding templates
  • Work-holding fixtures and soft jaws
  • Hardware alignment guides
  • Dust-collection adapters and cable management
  • Replacement knobs, guards, brackets and caps
  • Obsolete parts you cannot source any more
  • Prototype enclosures and fit-check parts
  • Flexible pads, bumpers, gaskets and protective feet
  • Display components and scale models
  • Short-run production parts
  • Multi-material parts using dissolvable supports

Printing or routing, whichever suits the part

We run a Bambu Lab H2D in the same Olathe shop that machines your cabinet parts and CNC routed components. For our customers that means one shop, one point of contact, and one place to send a part regardless of whether it should be routed out of sheet goods or printed.

It also means we can be straight with you about which process fits. Printing wins on complex geometry, internal features and small quantities. Routing wins on flat panel work, large parts and solid material. Send us the part and we will tell you which one we would use and why.

  • Prototypes and one-off parts
  • Shop jigs, fixtures and templates
  • Repeat and scheduled production runs
  • File prep and design support

Where printing wins

Complex geometry, internal features and small quantities.

Three ways to use it

The same tiered approach as our cabinet production. Take a single prototype, custom tooling for your own shop, or ongoing production volume.

Tier 1

Prototypes & One-Offs

For proving a part before you commit to tooling, a production run, or an expensive block of material.

  • Single parts and short iterations
  • Fast turnaround on design changes
  • Fit and function checks before production
  • Print from your STL or STEP files
  • File prep help if your model is not print ready

Tier 2

Jigs, Fixtures & Shop Tooling

The parts that make the rest of your shop faster. This is where 3D printing and our CNC work reinforce each other.

  • Drilling and assembly jigs
  • Router and sanding templates
  • Clamping and work-holding fixtures
  • Hardware alignment guides
  • Replacement parts for shop equipment

Custom tooling without paying to machine it out of solid stock.

Tier 3

Repeat Production Runs

Ongoing and repeat volume, scheduled into the shop the same way we schedule cabinet production.

  • Repeat and scheduled production runs
  • Consistent part-to-part repeatability
  • Labeled and sorted for your workflow
  • Staggered delivery to match your build schedule
  • Standing orders so you are not re-quoting every month

You install or assemble. We handle the production.

Built on the Bambu Lab H2D

A dual-nozzle FDM platform built for functional parts, not just display models.

The dual nozzle prints two materials in one job, so we can lay down a part and a wash-away support together and pull clean, complex internal geometry off the bed. A heated chamber and 350°C hotend mean we are not limited to hobby plastics: we can run engineering resins and carbon and glass fiber reinforced filaments for parts that see heat, load and real service, and the AMS feed prints in multiple colors and materials without a babysitter.

Printing and routing under one roof

Right process, honest answer

We are not only a print shop, so we have no reason to print a part that should be routed. You get the process that actually suits the part.

Tooling for your CNC work

Printed jigs, templates and fixtures make the machined parts we send you faster to assemble. The two services compound.

One vendor, one schedule

Printed and routed parts for the same job get coordinated together instead of arriving from two suppliers on two timelines.

One shop

One point of contact, and one place to send a part.

What we print in

Split by what is on the shelf today and what we can source for a job, because those are two different promises.

Stocked and dialed in

On the shelf, with settings already proven on our machine.

Everyday

PLA, PETG

Prototypes, templates, display parts, general-purpose components.

Flexible

TPU

Grippers, bumpers, gaskets, feet, pads and flexible protection.

Outdoor & Heat

ABS, ASA

Functional parts, outdoor exposure and higher-temperature use.

Engineering

PA / Nylon

Parts needing greater strength, heat resistance or durability.

Available by request

Within the machine's capability and sourced for the job. Tell us how the part gets used and we will confirm the grade before we quote it.

Engineering (specialty)

PC, PET, PPS

Higher-temperature and chemically demanding parts, sourced per job.

Reinforced

Carbon and glass fiber filled grades

Stiffer fixtures, jigs, brackets and load-bearing functional parts.

Dissolvable Supports

PVA, BVOH

Wash-away support for complex geometry and internal features.

3D printing FAQs

What files do you need for a 3D print?

STL is the usual format, and we can also work from STEP. If your model is not print ready, or you only have a drawing or a sample part, talk to us and we will help you get to a printable file.

When should I 3D print a part instead of CNC routing it?

Print it when the geometry is complex, hollow, organic or has internal features that a router cannot reach, and when you need one or a few. Route it when you need flat panel work, sheet goods, large parts, or the strength and finish of solid material. We do both under one roof, so we will tell you honestly which one fits your part.

Can you print jigs and fixtures for my shop?

Yes, and it is one of the best uses for it. Drilling jigs, router templates, alignment guides and work-holding fixtures can be printed to your exact setup for far less than machining them from solid stock.

What materials can you print?

We stock PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and Nylon (PA), and have them dialed in on our machine. Other engineering resins such as PC, PET and PPS, carbon and glass fiber filled grades, and dissolvable supports are all within the machine's capability and sourced per job. Tell us how the part will be used and we will confirm the material before we quote it.

Can you handle repeat production runs, not just one-offs?

Yes. We schedule repeat and standing runs into the shop the same way we schedule cabinet production, and we can label, sort and stagger delivery to match your build schedule. We will be straight with you about volume: this is one machine, so we plan the run around your dates rather than promising unlimited throughput.

Do you print in metal?

No. Our 3D printing is polymer, and our CNC routing is non-metal as well. If your part has to be metal we will tell you up front rather than talk you into the wrong process.

Need the part routed instead?

We CNC route wood, plywood, MDF, HDPE, foam and other non-metal materials up to 47" x 97" and 11" thick, and manufacture full cabinet component packages.

Have a part you want printed?

Send us your STL or STEP file, or just describe the part and how it gets used. We will tell you whether to print it or route it, and quote it either way.
